A second year-student of Night Raven College and the head of Scarabia dorm, Kalim is the heir to a powerful merchant family whose vast fortune surpasses even that of kings. Cheerful and generous, flighty and a bit oblivious, he’s grown up relying on the help of his attendant, Jamil, for practically everything from getting dressed in the morning, to poison-checking his food before each meal. (You would not believe how many assassination attempts and kidnapping plots this boy has had to endure.)
